1-   One reason we have not had any trouble here tonight is because Lawrence Norton brought his flip.

2-    Mr. J.M. Farmer says "above all boards the school board is the worst".

3-    Hallis Smith says "girls quit making goo goo eyes at him, he will do his own house keeping".

4-    Little George Farmer says "all cash and not credit".

5-    If any of you girls want to get married, flirt with Lee Kelley.

6-  Bennie Fricks Jr. says "sweet apples aren't sweet at all compared with Chitwoods".

7-    Rev. B.H. Rich says "chickens surely must be healthy around Mountain Grove community because he has not seen a dead one".

8-    If high heel shoes and lip stick goes out of style Beatrice Farmer will be left flat.

9-     Francis Fricks is the next catch for the boys.

10-   Fannie Ruth Kelley has an awful pain in her heart.

11-   You should hear Sanford Farmer singing "My Katherine".

12-   Madeline Farmer says "if cold cream will keep the wrinkles down she want mind the price".

13-   You boys that was asking about those two good looking girls, it is Roxie Bell and Amelia Rich.

14-   Sula Mae Cash says "she's getting tired of keeping a permanant and hair dye trying to catch a husband".

15-   Luther Farmer's heart is going pat pat. He can't hardly wait until school starts.

16-   Girls, you had better quit making eyes at little Henry Farmer. He has a 300 lb. wife out there in the crowd.

17-   Mrs. B.H. Rich is still wearing that pleasant million dollar smile.

18-   Dewey Kimbrel wishes wishes there wasn't any more boys.

19-  James Martin likes school girls alright. For a regular he says "give him a school teacher".

20-   Girls that flirt back, there is Hoyt Kelley.

21-   Vera Mae Kimbrel says "will Banks go busted".

22-   Ask Montine Farmer how to get rid of Tater bugs.

23-   Miss Gladys Farmer says "she has enough scholars but she would take one more boy".

24-   Miss Annie Lee Kimbrel does all her shopping at Rodgers.

25-   Minnie Ruth Farmer thinks these graded roads are the very thing.

26-   Mr. Pell Moats has had a terrible time winning a Brown but he believes he will go back to farming.

27-  Seth Kimbrel says "the depression is about over. He has lived through two and each time he wore out a pair of pant. The ones he has on now are so thin, when he sits on a dime he can tell whether it is heads or tails".

28-  Alice Farmer is certainly glad that spring is here. It will soon be time for Martins.

29-    Eloise Farmer likes Dewy mornings better than frosty ones.

30-    Mr. George Farmer believes in having things well don at his house.

31-    Merle Simmons believes in having cloths Taylor made.

32-    Terrell Fricks is nigh like a possum, always hunting Simmons.

33-    Florien Simmons says "above all coffee she like Maxwell house".

34-    Norma Lee Farmer's fellow said " he got tired of seeing her setting on her hands to keep them warm so he gave her a pair of kid gloves".

35-    Emma Jewel Kimbrel's favorite Dr. is Terrell.

36-    Ask Zelia Mae Farmer how to catch dirt Dabbers.

37-    Goldman Kimbrel says "he likes Farm girls alright but give him a Rich girl'.

38-    Girls you need not be surprised when Hansel Farmer rides up on that pony.

39-    Grady Kimbrel says "he likes the name of Ruth. He don't see there ain't many many more.

40-    Telford Wilbanks says 'Boys it is terrible when you have to go see a bashful girl".

41-    Mr. B.H. Rich is going away. We hope he will leave singing "we'll be back when the roses boom again".

42-    I guess we had better sign off. I see Mr. Joe Farmer is getting plum nervous. He is afraid he is going to miss Amos and Andy.
